What Does It Do

The treatment restores your natural healthy glow, replenishes and revives your skin from the inside.

The Beauty Boost treatments uses a unique hyaluronic acid based dermal serum to hydrate and restore volume to the treated area. This is a substance that is naturally produced in the body. Over time, the body will absorb the hyaluronic acid, and the effects of treatment will fade.

The treatment restores lost skin density and boosts collagen production to help you achieve smoother healthier skin. It is also used as a preventative treatment by younger patients to prevent signs of aging skin becoming visible.

How Is It Done

The Beauty Boost injector is a delivery device that allows the clinician to place the dermal serum product at a precise depth beneath the skin. It offers accurate dosing for a quick and effective treatment with minimal pain and downtime for patients.

The device works by applying inbuilt suction to the skin prior to every injection. This decreases the sensation and vascularity in the area, improving comfort and the accuracy of the depth delivery ensuring a more uniform treatment.

A session takes from just 30 minutes (with a numbing cream applied 30 minutes before treatment) and consists of fine intra or hypodermic micro-injections of minuscule quantities of fine dermal serum along your wrinkle lines and evenly spread over the surface of the treated area.

You�ll experience minimal discomfort and downtime.

What Should I Do After the Procedure

You should avoid any strenuous exercise, exposure to heat (saunas or hot showers), and alcohol consumption for 24-48 hours post-treatment.

For the first day after your Beauty Boost treatment, you should also avoid applying any pressure to the area. It�s also advisable to not use any serums or skin care products containing active ingredients like Vitamin C and retinoids for 24 hours.

Your clinician may also recommend that you do not undergo any other cosmetic treatments in the area, including chemical peels and laser procedures, for up to 2 weeks.

How Soon Will I See the Results

Most clients see improvement in their skin 2-3 weeks following their initial treatment.

Depending on your lifestyle your skin will have a better tone and texture, and be more hydrated and supple, for six to nine months. With each subsequent session, you�ll see cumulative results, as your complexion looks increasingly radiant and firmer.

How Many Treatments Are Recommended

We usually recommend an initial series of 3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

After the initial series of treatment sessions you should return to the clinic for a maintenance session every 6-9 months.

Does It Hurt

An anaesthetising cream is applied 30 minutes before your treatment to minimise discomfort, and the dermal serum product also contains a local anaesthetic. You should also avoid stimulants like caffeine, alcohol and cola for at least 4 hours prior to your treatment to further reduce any mild discomfort you may feel during the treatment.

Is There Any Downtime

There is a little downtime associated with the Beauty Boost treatments. Most patients choose to have their Beauty Boost treatment on a Friday afternoon and recover during the weekend before returning to their normal schedule.

Are There Side effects

Immediately following treatment, you may notice small bumps in the treated area at the site of the injections. This is entirely normal for any injectable cosmetic treatment and should resolve within a few hours.

Some clients may experience mild swelling and bruising that will subside over the next 24-48 hours.

Other potential side effects can include tenderness, redness, and itching in the treated area. All of these possible side effects should subside within a few days of the treatment.

As the serum is organically natural the risk of any adverse side effects from the serum itself are extremely rare.

How Long Do Results Last

The positive effects of a series of three treatments typically last for around 6 months, but can vary either way according to your metabolism and personal lifestyle.
